It will for other damage but not your own weapons. However the dodgey perk with a single star negates that and does not drain your AP. If you run a low health and stealth character like me, using explosive weapons can be suicide at close range. Random thoughts by Vastamious chapter 13. Didn't see any bears, but did see beer tracks. Apparently the black bears love them when the berries are out. We also visited a "Cranberry Glade" wildlife area. They were just there when I snapped the pic. Note, the folks in the phot are not my wife and I. This is one of the bunker doors that you go through to get into the tour area. And the door you enter from outside in the game with the "Danger High Voltage" sign, that is what was on that actual door to keep people away. It is leased out to a secure data and files storage company. They do not allow photos or most electronics, including cellphones in the bunker. The "fire department" building is a bit larger in real life. Yes there is a long building on the right of the path outside the shot. We made our way around the grounds going to the right and it was spooky close to the game. The shuttle bus we took from the train station parking lot to the main building. The main entrance across from the train station. There is a Christmas store in the sation building itself. Yes, there is an active Amtrak station across the road. Being well after the summer tourist season there were no tours going on so the closest we could get was a locked gate. And yes the walkway underneath is there and there is a tour company that will take you out onto it. They did a very good job reproducing the bridge. The first game related stop was the New River Gorge National Park. Spoilered of course due to the large number of pics. So here are a some photos of where we stopped along the way. If you are ever in the area try and stop by one or two if you can. This wasn't a Fallout specific trip so there are a lot of places we did not visit, such as the light house, Dolly Sods, Flatwoods, Helvetia, etc. Some find it fun, some roll there eyes and the folks at the Greenbrier kind of roll their eyes. Many of the locals are aware of the Fallout 76 connection. While having seen the various posts and videos elsewhere on the internet about the real locations that tare used in the game, it is still interesting to visit them yourself and see how close some of them really are. So with both of us playing 76 we had to make a few related stops along the way. Toxic Valley is definitely the best place to run around collecting wood - there's tons of downed trees and they are easily visible as there's hardly any grass or foliage.Īs mentioned in a previous post I mentioned that my wife and I took a vacation to do some hiking and being tourists in Virginia and West Virginia.

I have no idea who thought it was reasonable to make the kill numbers be 1000 - that's a LOT of kills with a given weapon, and it's broken down into 3-4 different classes of melee weapons, so that's 4k robot kills with melee, which is just going to take forever.Īlso, I'm doing the 'collect wood' one that you did earlier, which is a slog. I did all the 'kill scorched with XXX weapon' one, and am slowly chipping away at the robot one.

I think I'm trying to do the same thing you are Vast, completing all / as many of the Atom challenges as possible. Despite finding probably 1-2 magazines a day, and playing virtually every day, I still have a long ways to go.

I still don't have all the magazines, I think I'm missing 4 or so total. I also found out why my character weight was so hard to keep down - 88 lbs. Then when I zipped over to the teapot I found the elusive final magazine to complete all of the "find issues of X magazine" challenges. When I started to do the usual run for scorched at Camden Park the very first group of five were all legendries which I've never had happen before. Had an amazing run first thing this morning.
